JOSÉ ALFREDO

Headshot

José Alfredo was born with music in his veins and art in his skin. From an early age, he knew his destiny belonged on stage. A singer, songwriter, and storyteller, he has built a career defined by authenticity, evolution, and a deep connection with his audience.

In 2011, he burst onto the scene with Valiente, his debut album, which earned him recognition on the Billboard Latin Airplay charts with hits such as “¿Cómo Estás?” and “Mírame Bien.” Since then, he has explored new sounds and pushed the boundaries of Latin pop. With Hay Otros Mundos Pero Están en Mi Cabeza (2014), T.R.E.S. (2018), and Hierba Mala (2020), his music has crossed borders, highlighted by songs like “Bumbeo,” which became an anthem in the fitness world through Zumba.

In 2023, he released En Mis Manos, a project that reaffirmed his versatility and his ability to reinvent himself. José Alfredo doesn’t just sing—he stands for something. His commitment to social causes has positioned him as a spokesperson for pediatric cancer awareness, gender-based violence prevention, and eating disorder advocacy.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with artists such as Cristian Castro, Martín Ricca, Ana Isabelle, Natalia Lugo, Marileyda, and Valeria Cid, solidifying his place as one of the most compelling voices in contemporary Latin music.

In May 2025, he surprised audiences with Mercurio Retrógrado, his sixth studio album and his most personal project to date. The album explores the stages of grief and was supported by a promotional tour that took him across the East Coast of the United States, the Dominican Republic, Spain, and Puerto Rico.
